Comfortable movement
Activity and routines may be adapted to reduce fear and support gradual return to function.
Back pain support
Individualised Ayurvedic support for back comfort and function after considering the pain pattern, possible cause and any warning signs.

The approach
The most useful plan begins by understanding what increases or eases pain, how function is changing and whether symptoms suggest nerve involvement or another cause.
Worldwide online consultation enquiries are welcomed. The scope of advice, treatment and prescribing depends on clinical suitability, the patient's location and applicable local regulations.

Pain may arise from muscles, joints, discs, nerves or age-related change. Many episodes are non-specific and improve, but trauma, infection, inflammatory disease, cancer or nerve compression sometimes need urgent investigation.
The location of pain, effect of movement, leg symptoms, duration and red flags guide whether supportive care, physiotherapy, imaging or specialist review is appropriate.
Could this be part of the picture?
The aim is to identify the pattern—not to assume every back pain is the same.
Aching, tightness or stiffness in the back
Pain linked to sitting, lifting or certain movements
Pain spreading into the buttock or leg
Tingling, numbness or weakness
Recurring pain affecting sleep, work or activity
The Ayurvedic perspective
Ayurveda may describe lower-back and radiating pain through patterns such as Kati Shoola or Gridhrasi, often considering Vata, tissue state, digestion, strain and daily routine.
Traditional pattern recognition does not replace neurological examination or assessment for fracture, infection, inflammatory disease or cauda equina syndrome.
Traditional Ayurvedic terminology describes a clinical framework; it should not be read as a guaranteed mechanism, result or replacement for modern diagnosis. How Dr. Dhyani may help
The exact plan varies by individual. These are areas an appointment may explore—not a standard protocol or promise of outcome.
Activity and routines may be adapted to reduce fear and support gradual return to function.
Work, lifting, sitting, sleep, movement breaks and recovery patterns are considered.
Ayurvedic support may sit alongside physiotherapy, pain care and medical evaluation where needed.
A considered consultation
Where pain is felt, how it started, duration and what changes it.
Leg pain, numbness, weakness, walking tolerance and bladder or bowel symptoms.
Work, posture, lifting, activity, sleep and previous episodes or injuries.
Current medicines, physiotherapy, investigations and relevant health conditions.
Care, coordinated
Seek emergency care for new loss of bladder or bowel control, difficulty passing urine, numbness around the genitals or buttocks, or rapidly worsening weakness in both legs. Fever, major trauma, unexplained weight loss, severe night pain or a cancer history also need prompt medical assessment.
Ayurvedic care may complement appropriate conventional treatment; it does not replace emergency care, prescribed medicines, diagnostic evaluation or necessary specialist review.
