The approach

Support begins with
the whole picture.

Hair fall is not automatically a scalp-only problem. A useful assessment looks at timing, pattern, health events, nutrition, hormones, medicines and family history.

Worldwide online consultation enquiries are welcomed. The scope of advice, treatment and prescribing depends on clinical suitability, the patient's location and applicable local regulations.

Understanding the concern

Hair loss has many patterns and causes.

Some shedding is normal. Noticeable hair loss may be diffuse, patchy, patterned, inflammatory or related to breakage. Stress, illness, childbirth, nutrition, thyroid disease, hormones, genetics, scalp disease and medicines can all contribute.

The pattern and scalp appearance matter. Sudden or scarring hair loss may need dermatology assessment and tests rather than cosmetic treatment alone.

Changes worth documenting

Photos taken in the same lighting and hairstyle can be more useful than repeatedly counting individual hairs.

The Ayurvedic perspective

Khalitya and Indralupta in Ayurveda

Ayurvedic assessment may consider Khalitya or Indralupta patterns together with Dosha, scalp condition, digestion, stress, sleep and tissue nourishment.

These traditional descriptions do not identify thyroid disease, iron deficiency, alopecia areata, scarring alopecia or hormonal causes; testing or dermatology review may still be important.

Traditional Ayurvedic terminology describes a clinical framework; it should not be read as a guaranteed mechanism, result or replacement for modern diagnosis.

How Dr. Dhyani may help

Classical principles.
Clear modern context.

The exact plan varies by individual. These are areas an appointment may explore—not a standard protocol or promise of outcome.

01

Pattern & scalp

Distribution, shedding, breakage and scalp symptoms help shape the next step.

02

Internal context

Nourishment, digestion, stress, sleep, illness, menstruation and medicines may be reviewed.

03

Realistic support

Guidance is designed around the likely cause and coordinated with tests or dermatology care when appropriate.

A considered consultation

What Dr. Dhyani
may consider.

  1. 01

When hair loss began, whether it is shedding, breakage, patches or patterned thinning.

  2. 02

Scalp symptoms, hair practices, chemical treatments and family history.

  3. 03

Recent illness, childbirth, stress, diet change, weight change and menstrual pattern.

  4. 04

Medicines, supplements, thyroid or iron results and previous dermatology assessment.

Care, coordinated

Sudden or scarring hair loss needs assessment.

Seek medical or dermatology review for sudden patchy loss, scalp pain, pus, scarring, eyebrow or eyelash loss, or hair loss with fatigue, weight change, menstrual change or other systemic symptoms. No product or consultation can guarantee regrowth.

Ayurvedic care may complement appropriate conventional treatment; it does not replace emergency care, prescribed medicines, diagnostic evaluation or necessary specialist review.
